how it works

Mapergy can be used on a "hosted delivery" basis with a variety of existing database formats. One of the key development criteria was straightforward integration of the system with data that may presently exist in different formats to our own.

Obviously there are some basic data requirements that need to be met in order to acheive the desired functionality, but Mapergy is enormously flexible and the data-gathering module is fully customisable by our development partners.

In many cases you would not have to do anything to your existing data - provided you have recognisable category and postcode fields - since Mapergy can read data from any remote location on the Internet.

The resulting maps would be delivered from our server and can be easily displayed within your existing website using iframes - any moderately competent webmaster can add the few lines of code to acheive that.

The underlying technology is LINUX webserver running a mySQL database and php4.
